DESKTOP WALLPAPER BY DENIS BROWN: CUIRITHIR, 2001. The image is derived from one of my edition prints that sold out- those who have been requesting it can now at least have it in this form. "Cuirither" is is the name of a protagonist in the ancient Irish love story of "Liadain & Cuirither".

GUIDELINES FOR WINDOWS AND MAC OPERATING SYSTEMS WINDOWS- click here or scroll down Mac OS 9, (Classic)- click here or scroll down Mac OS X- click here or scroll down if you have a high resolution screen, click here.
Right-click the enlarged image above and select "set as desktop background", "set as background", or "set as wallpaper". That's all you need to do! However, If you wish to tweak the settings for better display, then later when you are off-line:
Open the 'System Folder'.
Save the picture above to your hard disk. To do this, press the 'control' key while clicking on the image above and select "Download image to disk" from the menu that appears. Save it to a suitable folder, (eg. into your pictures folder: / users/ yourname/ pictures).
If you have a high resolution screen, you'll get much better results from a higher resolution image- there are 16 images in resolutions up to 1920 x1200 pixels on the Denis Brown CD-Rom. I'd suggest the best way to use the free option above is to ensure the image is centered on screen, against a suitable background colour, rather than stretched to fill the whole screen.
